FLARB built Caldera Defense from the ground up as a Virtual Reality tower defense shooter on Gear VR using Oculus Rift’s SDK. Launched in April 2015, Caldera Defense’s early access free preview has received rave reviews. In addition to developing and publishing our own VR content, we have consulted on a number of VR projects including some highly rated launch titles for new VR platforms. We are veterans in VR development and are currently researching new ways to deliver exciting interactive VR content on many platforms–ranging from Cardboard to Vive.
Camera Birds is FLARB’s first Augmented Reality app. Currently we are developing Ether Drift–a series of augmented reality toys that blend games, 3D printing, and AR tech at the bleeding edge. We are experts in how to apply Augmented Reality to games, toys, and advertising campaigns.
FLARB has designed, developed, and published countless games for mobile, web, and social platforms stretching way back to the feature phone era. From simple puzzle games to sprawling browser-based MMOs, FLARB has been involved in a wide variety of game genres and styles. Not only do we handle the technical aspects of game development but the design, marketing, and monetization as well.
Product and Business Strategy
We perform due diligence for investors including tech and business model analysis. We also work with clients on forming the best monetization strategy for their game or app, including optimizing operational overhead to increase margins. Strategy planning requires not just business sense, but a deep foundation in technology. FLARB provides that expertise.
Unity3D is FLARB’s platform of choice. This allows FLARB to deliver on all platforms: mobile, web, console, and desktop. Complementing our expertise in native app development, FLARB has created native plug-ins to support custom technology for certain clients
Location Based Technologies
FLARB developed Presence Play–a location-based rewards network for mobile games. We are experts in using LBS technology including 3rd party APIs such as Foursquare and Facebook. We also have worked on game designs and business models that include location-based services in a sensible way.
We work with lots of great partners.
